Impact on LearningDifficulty with social communication is a fundamental part of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Impairments with social communication can have an enormous impact on the student’s ability to engage with learning at school.
Students may have difficulty with: Students with ASD require support to communicate messages and to understand the communication of others. Providing support with communication and teaching communication skills can have an extremely positive impact on the student’s academic outcomes.
